Salty Vibes is an oceanside retreat in the Beach Cub of Corolla designed for both relaxation and fun. With a club pool, gym, and dogpark, it’s the perfect spot to gather with family and friends. Just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and the beautiful Whalehead park, it’s where salty air and good vibes come together.

 

Both propeties are close to the 4x4 beach entrance where you can see the famous wild horses.

Who We Are

Your Hosts

Hi and welcome! We are your hosts, John and Shelley. Shelley grew up on the beaches of California and loves it's laid back, close-to-nature feel. When we first visited Corolla, NC, we felt it shared that same West Coast vibe. We are looking forward to building memories with our children and grandchildren for years to come here in Corolla and are excited to share our space with you. We hope you enjoy your time at the beach as much as we do!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your check in and check out times?
Our check-in time is 4pm and our check-out time is 10am.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes! We love dogs. We allow two dogs under 50 lbs. We will consider larger dogs. Just reach out and ask!
Are linens provided?
Yes, we provide towels, sheets, dish towels and beach towels.
Do you allow early check in?
We will try our best! If early check in is not available, we can arrange for you to have access to the pool and bathroom while you wait!

This was a last minute trip to the beach and the host was very responsive to our late booking. The home met all of our expectations and the location was perfect for what we were looking for. The beach was a short walk from the property and the access area accommodated our special needs son who is in a wheelchair. There is lots to do in this area of Corolla that is within walking distance of the property. Highly recommend this condo for a party of 4 and if you are traveling with pets.

Location, Location, Location! Our first time in OBX. Traveling with my 68 year old mother who had a knee replacement last year, my high functioning autistic pre-teen & 2 small dogs. One would think I had my hands full but that wasn’t the case bc Michelle’s place was PERFECT for us. The best beach access in the town is just a 2 min walk with an accessible ramp & ZERO steps. Pool is super close & a restaurant/bar called the salty rim is on the site. Home is well maintained. Comfortable environment. Just a few miles from the 4x4 Carova beach with the wild horses. Corolla park is across the street. The beach club at Whalehead really checked all the boxes for us. If you are traveling with someone who has any sort of mobility concern, this location is for YOU! Quiet. Just PERFECT
